Bricks from Kleve: A long tradition - The ancient Romans were experienced brick-makers and already knew to appreciate the exceptional quality of the Niederrhein clay for brick manufacture. Through it, the art of the brick-making arrived in our region. Since the year 1905 in the shadow of Kleve’s Swan Castle, our traditional family business at Klinkerwerk Küsters in Kellen (lat. “Celina”) produces fired clay walling blocks, fine bricks and brick-slips.

Quality and flexibility through high-tech manufacture: The use of latest generation industry robots and a computer-controlled plant set-up makes our brickworks one of the most flexible of its type in Europe. Flexibility, customer responsiveness and easy choices. With more than 300 different sorts of bricks and brick-slips our assortment is already extraordinarily varied. However, modern technology enables us to consider individual customer requirements (E.g.. special colours, formats and shaped bricks).
