Bricks from Kleve: A long tradition

The ancient Romans were experienced brick-makers and already knew to appreciate the exceptional quality of the Niederrhein clay for brick manufacture. Through it, the art of the brick-making arrived in our region.

Since the year 1905 ...

in the shadow of Kleve’s Swan Castle, our middle-class family business at Klinkerwerk Küsters in Kellen (lat. “Celina”) produces, fired clay walling blocks, fine bricks and brick-slips.

Quality and flexibility through Hightech manufacture

Finally the use of latest generation industry robots and a computer-controlled plant set-up makes our brickworks one of the most flexible of its type in Europe.

and easy choices: With more far than 300 different sorts of bricks and brick-slips our assortment is already extraordinarily varied. However, modern technology enables us to consider individual customer requirements (E.g.. special colours, formats, formed bricks).
